Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 51-year-old Antwan Diggs of Buffalo pleaded guilty before State Supreme Court Justice Christopher J. Burns to one count of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, a Class “D” violent felony.

On August 19, 2019, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the defendant subjected the victim to sexual contact by forcible compulsion at a location in the City of Buffalo.

Diggs faces a maximum of 7 years in prison when he is sentenced on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. He continues to be released on $100,000 bond previously posted in Buffalo City Court.

DA Flynn commends Detective Mark Costantino of the Buffalo Police Department Special Victims Unit for his work in the investigation.

The case was prosecuted by Chief Rosanne E. Johnson of the DA’s Special Victims Bureau.
