Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that a jury has found 45-year-old Don Lewis of Buffalo guilty, as charged, of one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree.
On November 24, 2016, at approximately 3 a.m., a witness saw the defendant holding a gun while assaulting a female victim on Fillmore Avenue and Van Gorder Street in the City of Buffalo. Lewis faces a maximum of 15 years in prison when he is sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice Deborah A. Haendiges on Monday, September 10 at 11 a.m.
