Orchard Park Woman Pleads Guilty to Felony Charge for Stealing From Her Employer

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 50-year-old Mollie McCann Poblocki, also known as Mollie McCann Healy, of Orchard Park pleaded guilty this morning before Acting State Supreme Court Justice Debra Givens to one count of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree (Class “D” felony).

The defendant, while working as an assistant property manager for a Buffalo-based company, stole approximately $53,000.00 from her employer between August 2019 and April 2021. The defendant committed the crime by pocketing a portion of rent payments paid by tenants to the property management company. 

As part of her guilty plea today, the defendant paid full restitution of $53,000.00 to the victim.

McCann Poblocki faces a maximum of 3 years in prison when she is sentenced on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. She remains released on her own recognizance.

DA Flynn commends ECDA Confidential Criminal Investigator Natalie Perez for her work in the investigation.  

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Gary M. Ertel of the Special Investigations and Prosecutions (SIP) Unit.
