Stabbing Death Leads to Murder Charges

Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 37 year-old Pedro Rivera a/k/a “Game” of 245 Elmwood Avenue, Apt. 319, Buffalo, will be arraigned at 9:30 a.m. before County Court Judge Thomas P. Franczyk on an indictment charging him with Murder in the Second Degree.

It is alleged that on December 26, 2013 at 245 Elmwood Avenue, Apt. 602 in Buffalo, Rivera caused the death of 68 year old Yousef Kabalan of 245 Elmwood Avenue, Apt. 602, Buffalo, by stabbing him. 

If convicted of this crime Rivera faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life.  Like all defendants accused of a crime, Rivera is legally presumed to be innocent until his guilt is proven in a court of law.
