Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 63 year old Candice L. McCrae of 38 Eden Street, Buffalo, pleaded guilty, as charged, to Grand Larceny in the Second Degree before Supreme Court Justice Russell P. Buscaglia.  This is the highest charge for which McCrae could have been convicted had she gone to trial.

McCrae admitted that between February 13, 2012 and August 13, 2013, while working as the accounts receivable manager at J. Mills Distributing Co., Inc., she stole $66,650.44 in cash from daily sales.

Assistant District Attorney Susan H. Sadinsky, as well as Investigators Mark Stambach and Anthony Costantino, all of whom are assigned to DA Sedita’s Special Investigations and Prosecution Bureau, successfully investigated and prosecuted the case.

McCrae faces a maximum prison term of 15 years when she is sentenced before Judge Buscaglia on March 19, 2014 at 9:30 a.m.
