Woman with Previous DWI Conviction Charged in Another Suspected Incident from May 2012

Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 50 year old Lynn M. Cutler of 26 Woodmoor Court, East Amherst, will be arraigned at 9:30 this morning before County Court Judge Thomas P. Franczyk on an indictment charging her with two counts of Feloniously Driving While Intoxicated and Leaving the Scene of an Incident without Reporting. 

It is alleged that on May 23, 2012 on Old Oak Post in Amherst, Cutler was driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .11%.  It is also alleged that Cutler struck a parked car and fled the scene.  As alleged in the Special Information, Cutler has a 2003 conviction for Driving While Intoxicated. 

Special Credit is given to Amherst Police Officer William Julicher.   His investigation of the debris at the scene of the accident led to the apprehension of Cutler. 

If convicted of these crimes Cutler faces a maximum prison sentence of 4 years.
