Erie County Legislator Chris Greene recently presented a certificate to Burger King General Manager Sue Perdziak to honor and recognize their iconic drive-thru worker, Elizabeth “Betty” Glinski.

Betty passed away in early 2021 leaving her colleagues and the Williamsville and Clarence communities heartbroken.

Legislator Greene said, “Betty was a ray of sunshine even on the cloudiest of days. During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic customers were forced to use the drive-thru—where they would be greeted by Ms. Betty’s friendly demeanor, leaving everyone with a smile on their face which is exactly what everyone needed then more than ever. She will be greatly missed by so many.”
