Erie County Legislator Kevin Hardwick honored Brian Joseph Fose of the City of Tonawanda as Citizen of the Month during the June 8, 2017 legislative session in recognition of his many contributions to the community.
“When you look around the community you can clearly see Brian’s work. He has been dedicated to improving the city through his volunteer group, ‘Team Up to Clean Up,’ along with his beatification projects that started at a young age in his own backyard. Many thanks to Brian for all he does for our community. He is truly deserving of this recognition,” said Legislator Hardwick.
Fose has worked on several community projects, including the Millstream Education Community Gardens; Memory Walk Lane on East Niagara Street, which honors Jedidiah Bryon Woomer and other young people who died too young; and Team Up to Clean Up, a volunteer group he founded in 2014. He is also involved with the Elks Lodge 860, in addition to several other efforts.
