Erie County Legislator from 4th Legislative District also retains chairmanship of Government Affairs Committee in 2020
Erie County, NY - At the first Legislative session of 2020, Erie County Legislator Kevin Hardwick was appointed Chair of the Community Enrichment Committee. Legislator Hardwick also remains the Chair of the Government Affairs Committee for the upcoming year.
“I look forward to continuing our focus on important governmental questions like we did this year when we discussed Western Region Off Track Betting’s disclosure practices. I’m also interested in holding discussions about the plans for SUNY Erie, formerly Erie Community College, as we enter a new decade and tackle the changes that digital learning opportunities present many of our students,” said Legislator Hardwick.
Hardwick was also named as a member of the Finance & Management/Budget which focuses primarily on developing Erie County’s $1 billion budget every year. In addition, he will be a voting member of the Energy & Environment and the Minority and Women Business Enterprise Committees.
Committee sessions take place every other Thursday at the Legislative Chambers on the 4th floor of Old County Hall. For more information on Legislator Hardwick’s initiatives or agenda, please visit www.erie.gov/hardwick.
