Free Health Fair & Community Open House
ECDOH CLINICS AT JESSE NASH HEALTH CENTER TO HOST ON FRIDAY, JULY 22ND
ERIE COUNTY, NY— The Erie County Department of Health (“ECDOH”) is pleased to announce a free health fair and open house at their Jesse Nash Health Center location at 608 William Street in Buffalo. This community event, featuring free health screenings, educational activities and complimentary refreshments, will run from 10 am – 3 pm on Friday, July 22, 2016.
“We want to encourage the community to stop by our Jesse Nash Health Center clinics to learn about the wide variety of available healthcare services,” stated Dr. Gale Burstein, Commissioner, ECDOH. “Our friendly, professional staff is there to answer questions, as well as to provide health screenings, treatments and advice to all.”
Clinics Located at Jesse Nash Health Center:
- STD (sexually transmitted disease)
- TB (tuberculosis)
- Immunization
- Family Planning Center
- HIV testing
- HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
- Refugee Health Assessments
During the July 22nd Open House, visitors will be able to be screened for sexually transmitted infections and HIV, receive valuable information on health-related topics from both ECDOH and from community partners, join us for hot dogs and hamburgers, and participate in fun activities for the whole family.
“We want the community to know the variety of healthcare services available to them in a close-by, convenient location,” concluded Burstein. “Everyone is invited to stop by, have a hot dog and say “Hi!””.
