[i] “Eligible nursing home residents” means all residents who qualify to receive a vaccine. It does not include all residents of nursing homes. A resident may be excluded from receiving a vaccine due to currently being COVID-19 positive or some other medical condition that precludes vaccination.

[ii] Data obtained from New York State also identifies the number of nursing home and adult care facility staff who have received a first and second dose. However, we cannot confirm that all of these persons reside in Erie County, nor can we confirm that a certain individual may work for more than one facility.
