Erie County Legislator Joe Lorigo recently joined Highway Superintendent Howard Diehl to tour damaged County-owned roads throughout the Town of Elma.

Legislator Lorigo and Highway Superintendent Diehl visited Creek, Winspear, Bowen, and Bullis Roads Monday morning.

Legislator Lorigo said, “Year after year, we are encountering the same problems. Residents in Elma pay taxes just as residents in cities and first-ring suburbs do. Damaged roads need to be addressed throughout all of Erie County before they continue deteriorating. I thank Highway Superintendent Diehl for showing me the inconveniences he and his community face and I’ll keep advocating for repairs. Each of the roads we visited needs attention from the Department of Public Works as soon as possible.”
