Erie County Legislator John Mills recently honored the Village of Orchard Park as it celebrates its centennial anniversary by presenting a proclamation to Mayor Jo Ann Litwin Clinton and the Village Board of Directors.

The Village of Orchard Park was incorporated in 1921 and covers an area of 1.4 square miles with 0.04 miles covered by Green Lake—a small, artificial lake. The Village population is just over three thousand residents as of 2019 and is the 650th most populated cities out of 1,526 cities in New York State.

Legislator Mills said, “A centennial anniversary is a momentous occasion that needs to be celebrated and recognized appropriately. I want to send a congratulations to community members, local leaders, local business, and village officials who have worked diligently to ensure the area flourishes and the residents are properly taken care of.”
