In late Summer of 2015, Erie County reinstituted the Park Ranger Program with the hiring of three rangers. The rangers are based out of Chestnut Ridge Park, but host a variety of programs across the entire Park System and will patrol all of our 10,000 acres of park and forestry lands. The rangers are required to go through Peace Officer Training, as well.
