History

Tow Path Park was once in the corridor of the historic Erie Canal. It is appropriately named for the historic towpath, which once passed through this area following beside the Erie Canal. Tow Path is a small, 5 acre "pocket park" that is primarily passive in nature. It has excellent westerly views of the Niagara River and is popular for fishing, picnicking and as a resting area along the Riverwalk.
