They bought Beef Jerky, Beer, and Cigarettes

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputy Lysy and Detective Hediger arrested Mary Gray, 37, and Kenny Everts, 36, both of Franklinville, on April 23 and charged them with felony grand larceny.

Deputy Lysy initially responded to a complaint on April 9 about a purse being stolen from a Sardinia bar and a credit card being used.  After looking at the victim’s credit card statement, Detective Hediger went to a convenience store in the Town of Yorkshire and reviewed recordings of interior and exterior surveillance cameras.

The surveillance footage showed Everts and Gray entered the store multiple times and purchased beer, a quantity of beef jerky, and cigarettes.  The Detective was able to identify the individuals and both were arrested and later released on appearance tickets.
