Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Stevie Edwards, 59, of Buffalo, was arrested for DWI following a traffic stop at 1:10 A.M. on July 12.

Deputy Zamorek stopped the vehicle after observing it cross the fog line and the center divider line multiple times on Interstate -190.  While speaking with Edwards, the Deputy observed signs of intoxication and administered standard field sobriety tests.  After failing the field tests, a breath test indicated a BAC level nearly twice the legal limit.

Edwards was released after being charged with DWI, drinking alcohol in a vehicle on the roadway, and two vehicle and traffic violations.
