The Male tried to flee after Deputies Discovered the Narcotics

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies with the Rath Patrol arrested 34-year old Marcus Cummings after crack cocaine and cocaine were found in his possession.

On February 28 at approximately 1:50 P.M., the subject tried entering the Rath Building through the Pearl Street entrance but set off the magnetometer.  When Deputies approached to investigate further, Cunningham attempted to flee the building, but he was quickly apprehended.

Cunningham is charged with felony counts of criminal possession of cocaine and criminal possession of a narcotic drug as well as resisting arrest.  The defendant is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.
