Illegally Parked Car Results In Two Arrests for Narcotics, Warrants

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies assigned to the Rath Patrol arrested a couple on several charges after their investigation into an illegally parked car near the Rath Building.

 

On Friday afternoon, deputies began investigating a vehicle illegally parked on Pearl Street.  The occupants provided the Deputies names but those later proved to be of other individuals.  Deputies determined the occupants were wanted individuals and were taken into custody.

 

The individuals were identified as, Richard Crull, 32 of Forestville, New York, and Kellie Gray, 31 of Buffalo.  Crull had two warrants out of the City of Buffalo and Gray also had a bench warrant out of Buffalo.

 

While Deputies inventoried the vehicle, they discovered several Carisoprodol pills, and controlled medication, not in an original container.  Each was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance not in its original container.  Additionally, each was charged with false personation.  Crull was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation.

 

Both defendants were transported to the Erie County Holding Center were Crull is held on $2,500.00 bail and Gray is held on $3,500.00 bail.
