While out on Bond, Subject Stole $2,200 of Merchandise from JC Penney’s

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of Desiree Walker, 24, of Rochester, who is charged with felony grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, and obstruction of governmental administration.

On April 26, Deputy Kolmetz responded to a report of a shoplifter at the JC Penney’s in the Eastern Hills Mall.   The store’s employees assisted the Deputy in determining the subject stole forty-one items which included clothing and several fitness watches.  At one point Walker admitted to being a professional and selling the items for cash.

The Deputy discovered Walker is out on bond for a larceny arrest in the Rochester area.  The defendant was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending her arraignment in Clarence Town Court.
