Patrols Added for Impaired DWI Enforcement


Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard announces he is implementing additional patrols for the Thanksgiving weekend to enforce DWI laws.


The roving patrols will concentrate efforts on arresting impaired and intoxicated drivers as well as looking out for distracted drivers.


The added patrols, which begin Wednesday, are funded through Erie County STOP-DWI.
