Added Hours at Facilities

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard announces holiday visiting schedules for the Erie County Correctional Facility and the Erie County Holding Center. 

Correctional Facility, 11581 Walden Ave., Alden

• Closed Monday, September 2. 

• Sheriff’s Office will have special visiting hours on Friday, September 6.

• Sign-in and visiting hours 7:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.; 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.

• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will have regularly scheduled times. 

Holding Center, 40 Delaware Ave., Buffalo

• Closed Monday, September 2. 

• Sheriff’s Office will have special visiting hours on Friday, September 6, 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will have regularly scheduled times. 

Both facilities are closed on Fridays, but the Sheriff’s Office opening up visitation for family and friends. 

The visiting schedule will return to its normal days and hours of operation on September 10.
