Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports an Erie County Correctional Facility visitor was arrested after it was discovered she had four outstanding warrants from three different local agencies.

On April 23 at approximately 4:00 P.M., a female registered at the correctional facility to visit an inmate.  It was learned the visitor used a false name and upon further investigation, Deputies determined the subject’s identity and discovered she had outstanding warrants from Amherst, Tonawanda, and Buffalo.

Deputies arrested 25-year-old Katherine Burkhard of Kenmore and turned her over to the Amherst Police Department.  The warrants are for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
