Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies arrested and charged 28-year-old Daniel Smith of West Seneca for felony DWI and speeding.

 

On May 16 at approximately 6:35 P.M., a Deputy initiated a traffic stop at Crittenden and Steiner roads in the Town of Newstead.  Smith was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody.  Deputies charged Smith with a felony count of DWI – with a previous conviction, as well as drinking alcohol in a vehicle on a highway and speeding (68 in a 45 mph speed zone).

 

The defendant was processed and released to a sober third party.
