
April 3, 2013 - Buffalo, NY - Sheriff Tim Howard takes part in a press conference this afternoon regarding the FBI's Safe Streets Task Force. The task force arrested more than a dozen people following a series of raids around the Perry Housing Projects and in the Fruit Belt section of the city. The dirty dozen are accused of conspiring to traffic several hundred grams of cocaine and cocaine base. The Sheriff's Office SWAT team assisted in rounding up the suspects. U.S. Attorney Bill Hochul, Buffalo Police Commissioner Daniel Derenda, Mayor Byron Brown, and Chris Piehota, Special Agent in Charge of the Buffalo Office of the FBI along with other representatives from law enforcement also attended the press conference.
