Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro

In observation of National Beer Day, Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently recognized April 7th as “Nickel City BrewZ Day” in Erie County.

Nickel City BrewZ, located on Broadway in the Village of Depew, is owned and operated by Brian and Bridgette Zittel. They opened their doors last summer and offer a variety of craft beers both in-house and for takeout. Legislator Todaro visited last week to present a proclamation recognizing the day on behalf of the Erie County Legislature.

Legislator Todaro said, “Nickel City BrewZ is an outstanding addition to our community! National Beer Day presented the perfect opportunity to stop in and take a look at the Zittels’ new craft beer destination. Owners Brian and Bridgette have been hard at work since they opened their doors, especially faced with restrictions as a result of the pandemic. It was great to visit their new spot and I wish them the best of luck!”
