Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro has contacted the Erie County Department of Public Works, the State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) and Town of Lancaster Supervisor Ron Ruffino encouraging all parties to work together to cut down on a recent increase in semi-truck traffic on residential streets.

Legislator Todaro said, “My office is aware of many large trucks and delivery vehicles travelling through residential streets in the Town of Lancaster. I share the concerns of many residents who have contacted me. Safety should be our number one priority, especially with more children home this year. I am hoping all parties can come together and work on a solution that keeps these vehicles on main roads. I will continue monitoring the situation to keep our streets safe for everyone.”
