Frequently Asked Questions

What platform will you be running the live streaming classes on?

We will be using Cisco Webex to run the classes.

Do I need a Webex account or have to download anything to take part in the live streaming class?

You do not need a Cisco Webex account to register and join these classes. You can download the free Cisco Webex app if you want, but do not have to. Please note that using the app is the recommended way of running Webex.

What types of devices am I able to view the live streaming classes on?

You may access the live streaming classes from your smart phone, tablet or computer. You may also call in if you would just like to listen to the presentation - the phone number and event ID will be in the confirmation email. Standard phone charges may apply. Please note that you will not be able to participate in the Q&A feature or see the presentation if only calling in.

Will others be able to see my video during the live streaming class?

No, all of the attendees will join the event muted and without video of themselves displayed, unless otherwise specified in the class description.

How will I be able to participate during the live streaming class?

You will be able to enter your questions in to the Q&A section of the event window. The host and instructor will try to answer as many appropriate questions as possible during the allotted time. The host and instructor may also take polls during the class that attendees can participate in.

Will the live streaming classes be recorded so I can watch them later?

Some of the classes will be recorded and posted on our website at a later date. Attendees will be told in the beginning of the presentation that the session is being recorded.
