This course will serve as an introduction to the science, history and impact of vaccination. Specific vaccines recommended for older adults will also be discussed, including vaccines for influenza, pneumonia and shingles. Finally, this course will address the COVID-19 vaccine(s) available, including safety and efficacy, and any emerging information regarding the vaccine(s).
