Judge Robert Russell, Jr. established the first Veterans Treatment Court in the world in Buffalo, NY. This class will discuss the origin of the Veteran Treatment Court model. How this has evolved into a nation-wide movement with over 600 courts now in existence and over 35,000 veterans who are now in treatment programs instead of being Incarcerated.
