TOWN OF CLARENCE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT |
TED DONNER Highway Superintendent tdonner@clarence.ny.us |

The Clarence Highway Department maintains 120 miles of Town Roads. During the winter, the Highway Department is under contract with Erie County for 50 miles of county roads in Clarence for snow and ice removal.
The Highway Department performs a spring and fall brush pickup, per the new schedule listed below. Brush is collected in a different section of the Town each week during the months noted on the schedule.
Brush should be placed parallel to the roadside in pieces not to exceed 8 feet. The Clarence Highway department does not pick up grass clippings, or any waste products such as railroad ties, fences, leafs in garbage bags or building debris. This brush collection schedule will Only take place during spring and fall. It will not take place in the summer during our peak road maintenance season. Do not place any brush out after May 31st. Brush pickup will resume in September.
