Comptroller Mychajliw Advises Taxpayers to be wary of Price Gouging

Erie County Comptroller Stefan I. Mychajliw braved the elements and made it into work, walking part of the way, to issue two very important warnings. 

County Wastes $406,650 on Capital Borrowing

Erie County Comptroller Stefan I. Mychajliw announced the close of the County's 2014 Bond Sale, noting the County Executive's decision to not use the Control Board cost taxpayers over $400,000.

Erie County Comptroller Stefan Iwan Mychajliw is the son of Polish and Ukrainian immigrants, the youngest of seven children, who grew up in blue-collar beginnings near the corner of William and Fillmore on the East Side of Buffalo.

The people of Erie County first elected Mychajliw Erie County Comptroller on November 6th, 2012. He is the proud father of ten-year-old Mia Theresa Mychajliw, a sixth-grade student.
