Advanced Interview and Interrogation Training

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, Office of Public Safety is pleased to announce a five-day "Advanced Interview and Interrogation" training designed for law enforcement investigators. This five-day training will be held in Erie County on March 6 - 10, 2017.
This training will be instructed by retired Investigator, Anthony Campione from the Rochester Police Department and John McNall, former Associate Director of the Regional Police Academy adn President of BowMac. Drawing from more than 60 years combined investigative and training experience, the instructors will utilize a series of lectures, video exercises, and practical experience to make trainees comforatble with the techniques discussed.
This course has been designed to provide the investigator with proven strategies to enhance rapport with suspects, victims, and witnesses. The course will review the basic strategy and structure of Interview and Interrogation with a focus on what motivates the interviewee and how to capitalize on it. The course is hands on and will allow the trainee to practice what is being taught.
Potential students must have already attended a two-day Basic Interview and Interrogation offered by DCJS. SEATS ARE EXTREMELY LIMITED. Therefore, you must recieve confirmation on attendance. Please complete the course application no later than two weeks prior to the start date of the course.
