JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) PUBLIC NOTIFICATION – FISCAL YEAR 2018 Notice is hereby given that the City of Buffalo, in partnership with the County of Erie, the Town of Cheektowaga and the Town of Tonawanda, is participating in a grant sponsored by the US Department of Justice, under the Bureau of Justice Assistance, entitled Edward Byrne Memorial 2018 Justice Assistance Grant (JAG). This formula-grant award will be utilized to support various components within the criminal justice system such as enhanced public safety through targeted and directed patrols, equipment and technology upgrades, and juvenile prosecutorial enhancement.
