Two Day Interview & Interrogation Plus Miranda And New York State Legal Issues Pertaining To Confessions
The City of Tonawanda, NY Police Department will be hosting a two day interview and interrogation course plus Miranda and other legal considerations.
The dates will be October 21st and 22nd, 2013. The location will be the Niawanda Park Pavilion and the hours will be 0800 to 1600 hrs. The instructor will be retired Lt. Al Joseph from the Rochester New York Police Department. Joseph was with the P.D. for 33 years. He was assigned in both plain clothes, uniform and a supervisory position to the following units: tactical, burglary, gambling, prostitution, narcotics, robbery, stolen auto and homicide with a reputation for being able to get quality confessions in all of these areas. He has taught interview and interrogation all across the U.S. for the past 32 years. He is a certified instructor. He is also the author of the highly acclaimed book, "We Get Confessions" which further details the strategies taught in this seminar. The 2 day course will cover the real Miranda Decision and not what you see on T.V., other legal issues, preparing for court, truthful and deceptive behavior, an entire game plan for conducting criminal investigations and getting legal confessions.
