District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announces that 35 year-old Edmund Bowie of 22 Curry Walk, Buffalo, was arraigned today before County Court Judge Michael Pietruszka on an indictment charging him with Murder in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree. 

It is alleged that on May 12, 2013, while outside of Dinny’s Bar, 372 William Street, Buffalo, Bowie murdered 37 year-old Dwon House of 131 Spring Street, Buffalo, by shooting him. 

If convicted of these crimes, Bowie faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life. 

Like all defendants accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
