Buffalo Man Indicted on Charges Related to His Alleged Robbing, Burglarizing and Assaulting of Elderly Victims

Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 32 year old Tige Billingsley was arraigned at 9:30 this morning before Supreme Court Justice Penny M. Wolfgang on an indictment charging him with two counts Robbery in the First Degree, Burglary in the First Degree and Assault in the Second Degree. 

It is alleged on December 6, 2011, Billingsley, along with a co-defendant, robbed a wallet from a 65 year old man at a business on William Street in the City of Buffalo and beat him with a gun.  It is also alleged that on December 16, 2011, Billingsley, along with co-defendant, robbed an 80 year old woman at her home of her purse and car.   After burglarizing her home Billingsley allegedly tied up the victim, duct taped and beat her with a gun. 

If convicted of these crimes Billingsley faces a maximum prison sentence of 75 years.
