Brandon Fryer, age 27 of 142 Wecker Street, Buffalo, will be arraigned at 9:30 this morning before Supreme Court Justice Penny M. Wolfgang on an indictment charging him with fourteen counts of Aggravated Driving while Intoxicated with a Child, seven counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Passing a Red Light.
Fryer was arrested on July 4, 2013 after police observed him pass a red light at the intersection of East Ferry Street and Bailey Avenue. It is alleged that he was drinking while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .12% while a total of seven children, ranging in age from 3 to 13 were passengers in the four-door sedan.
If convicted of these crimes Fryer faces a maximum prison sentence of 4 years.
Like all defendants accused of a crime, Fryer is legally presumed to be innocent until his guilt is proven in a court of law.
