Buffalo Man Arraigned on Forcible Touching Charge

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 58-year-old Alan R. Core, Sr. of Buffalo was arraigned on Friday morning before Buffalo City Court Judge Peter J. Savage, III on one count of Forcible Touching (Class “A” misdemeanor) and one count of Harassment in the Second Degree (violation). 

It is alleged that on June 22, 2021, the defendant is accused of forcibly touching the intimate parts of the adult female victim. The incident allegedly occurred inside the victim’s apartment.

Core is scheduled to return on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. for further proceedings. He was released on his own recognizance.

DA Flynn commends Detective Nicole Wrazen of the Buffalo Police Department Special Victims Unit for her work in the investigation.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
