Buffalo Man Pleads Guilty to Harassment Charge for Nonconsensual Touching of Female Victim

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 58-year-old Alan R. Core, Sr. of Buffalo pleaded guilty yesterday morning Buffalo City Court Judge Peter J. Savage, III to one count of Harassment in the Second Degree (violation). He was sentenced to a conditional discharge.

The defendant admitted that he harassed a female victim by touching intimate parts of her body without her consent while he was inside the victim’s apartment on June 22, 2021.

As part of the plea, Judge Savage issued a one-year No Contact Order of Protection on behalf of the victim.

DA Flynn commends Detective Nicole Wrazen of the Buffalo Police Department Special Victims Unit for her work in the investigation.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant Chief Stephen C. Earnhart of the Buffalo City Court Bureau.
