Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 38 year-old Timothy Dozier of Buffalo pleaded guilty before State Supreme Court Justice Russell P. Buscaglia to two counts of Attempted Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, “D” felonies.

In July 2018, the Buffalo Police Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at the defendant’s apartment.  During the execution of the warrant, detectives recovered cocaine, fentanyl, packaging, and a scale.  After the defendant was placed under arrest and read his Miranda rights, he admitted that the drugs were his. 

As a second felony offender, Dozier faces mandatory state prison.  The court committed to 2 ½ years plus 2 years post-release supervision when he is sentenced on June 3 at 11:00 a.m.
