Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 40-year-old Willie Price of Buffalo has been sentenced by Erie County Court Judge James Bargnesi to 4 years in prison followed by 3 years of post-release supervision.
On September 27, 2017, Buffalo Police executed a search warrant at a home on Locust Street. Once inside, investigators recovered 110 wax envelopes of heroin, loose heroin, packaging materials and scales. Outside of the house, police found another 38 envelopes of heroin and packaging materials.
Price pleaded guilty to one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell, in July 2018.
DA Flynn commends the investigative work of the Buffalo Police Narcotics Unit, including Lt. Sean O’Brien, Detective Patrick O’Rourke, Detective Sharon Acker, Detective Shawn Adams and Detective Joseph Cook.
The case was prosecuted by Paul J. Williams, Chief of the DA’s Narcotics Bureau, and Assistant District Attorney Kellen P. Coppola of the DA’s Justice Courts.
