Cheektowaga Man Admits to Attempting to Engage in Sexual Conduct with Juvenile Victims

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 65-year-old Michael Henry of Cheektowaga pleaded guilty before State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller to two counts of Attempted Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the Second Degree, Class “E” felonies.

The defendant admitted to attempting to engage in sexual conduct with two juvenile female victims on multiple occasions over the course of two years at a location in the Town of Cheektowaga.

Henry faces a maximum of 8 years in prison when he is sentenced on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.

DA Flynn commends the Cheektowaga Police Department for their work in the investigation, including Detective Terrence Griffin.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Meghan E. Leydecker of the DA’s Special Victims Bureau.
