Cheektowaga Man Sentenced for Attempted Sexual Conduct with Juvenile Victims

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 65-year-old Michael Henry of Cheektowaga has been sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller to 6 months in jail followed by 10 years of probation. He will be required to register as a sex offender upon his release.

The defendant admitted that he attempted to engage in sexual conduct with two juvenile female victims on multiple occasions over the course of two years at a location in the Town of Cheektowaga.

Henry pleaded guilty to two counts of Attempted Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the Second Degree, Class “E” felonies, on April 16, 2019.

DA Flynn commends Detective Terrence Griffin of the Cheektowaga Police Department for his work in the investigation.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Meghan E. Leydecker of the DA’s Special Victims Bureau.
