Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 41-year-old Michael Milton of Buffalo has been sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice Russell P. Buscaglia to 50 years to life in prison for the sexual abuse of two underage girls over a period of several years.

In January, a jury found Milton guilty of two counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, two counts of Criminal Sexual Act in the Third Degree and one count of Rape in the Third Degree after a weeklong trial.

Justice Buscaglia also issued the defendant a 100-year order of protection against the victims and their mother.

DA Flynn commends the Buffalo Police Department Sex Offense Squad for its thorough investigation.

Special Victims Bureau Chief Rosanne E. Johnson, former ADA Jeremy V. Murray and Assistant District Attorney Nicholas T. Texido prosecuted the case.
