Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 26-year-old Jason R. Graham of Buffalo pleaded guilty this morning before State Supreme Court Justice John L. Michalski to one count of Burglary in the Second Degree, a Class “C” violent felony.

The defendant admitted that he knowingly and unlawfully entered a home on Military Road in the City of Buffalo by breaking a kitchen window with a brick during the early morning hours of January 20, 2020. Once inside, the defendant assaulted the homeowner and demanded money. The defendant fled with an unknown amount of cash. Investigators found a pair of earbuds in the hallway near where the defendant exited the home. The earbuds were swabbed for DNA, which linked the defendant to the crime.

DA Flynn commends Detectives Jen Zanghi and Zack Burgess of the Buffalo Police Department and the Erie County Central Police Services Forensic Laboratory for their work in the investigation.
