The defendant is accused of causing the death of his ex-girlfriend, 25-year-old Jacquetta Lee, by stabbing the victim to death inside her apartment on Main Street near Heath Street in the City of Buffalo. Jones remains held without bail. A return court date has not been scheduled at this time.

If convicted on the charge, he faces a maximum of 25 years to life in prison.
