Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 27-year-old Theodore Wilson of Buffalo has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison by Erie County Court Judge Thomas P. Franczyk. 

In May 2017, Wilson was convicted after a non-jury trial before Judge Franczyk of two counts of Robbery in the First Degree, Assault in the First Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree and Robbery in the Second Degree. 

On January 5, 2016 at 1733 Genesee Street, Wilson robbed and shot 29-year-old Quinton Rosenthal of Buffalo who was left a quadriplegic. One day later and two blocks away from 1733 Genesee Street, the defendant robbed a man of his car, cell phone and money. 

DA Flynn commends the Buffalo Police Department for its investigative work, including Captain Robert Joyce, Officers Michael Norwood, Robert Dana, Michael Haas and Buffalo Homicide Detectives Brendan Kiefer and James Kaska.
