Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 45-year-old Scott Stockton of Lackawanna was sentenced by Erie County Court Judge Thomas P. Franczyk to weekends in jail for four months and ten years probation for possession of child pornography.

Stockton pleaded guilty to the distribution and possession of images of children engaged in sex acts with adults.  One of the youngest victims was four years old.

As a result of his conviction, Stockton must now register as a sex offender for the next twenty years.

This conviction came about as a result of an investigation led by Det. William Fleming of the Town of Tonawanda Police Department.

After conducting a lengthy investigation, it was discovered that Stockton possessed over 300 items, including images and videos, of sexual performances by children.

Assistant District Attorney Bethany A. Solek of the DA’s Special Victims Bureau prosecuted the case.
