Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 30-year-old Jeremy Wright of Buffalo has been arraigned before Erie County Court Judge Sheila A. DiTullio on Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree.

It is alleged that on October 7, 2017, the defendant was arrested following an incident at the Allen Street Bar and Grill in the City of Buffalo while in possession of a knife.

Wright was remanded to jail without bail. He is scheduled to return on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. before Judge DiTullio.

If convicted of the charge, Wright faces a maximum of 7 years in prison.

Assistant District Attorney Erin Hart of the DA’s Felony Trials Bureau is prosecuting the case.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
